short stack is an australian band from budgewoi, nsw. the three members are shaun diviney (guitar and vocals), andy clemmensen (bass and backing vocals) and bradie webb (drums and keyboard). they launched their ever growing career through myspace and have been getting bigger by the minute. they have had over 4 million plays of their songs on myspace, 1.4 million views of short stack tv on youtube and were the winners of oz artist of the year in 2008 and came 2nd in 2009. short stack have their first headlining tour in december this year and have just celebrated the realease of their debut album, stack is the new black.

So many people missed out on watching the Kids Choice Awards because you don't have foxtel, but don't be upset... SSMaurice has posted the special highlights of the night (All Short Stack!). Watch the boys get slimed and jump out from behind speakers :) it will make your day. I guarantee it!
Also, stack-sourcex has some exciting news. Stack-sourcex is going to be moving on to bigger and better things soon. We will be moving to www.stack-source.co.cc in about a month or two for a while until we hopefully *fingers crossed* can be hosted by the fansite network and become stack-source.org :) but until we move stack-sourcex will stay here :) Don't worry we aren't going anywhere for a long time! By the way the reason we have to go to a .co.cc site first is the fansite network needs to see examples of my work and stuff and then they decide if we can be hosted, then i just have to upload the old site to the new server. It's all pretty stressful but don't worry we'll get through it. Check out stack-source.co.cc there is some other pretty cool info on the coming soon page. stack-source (coming soon)

Tonight was the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards as many people already know. Short Stack were nominated for 3 Awards: Fave Aussie Band Fave Song Fave Aussie Hottie (Shaun)
The boys won Fave Aussie Band and beat out rock legends AC/DC, The Veronicas and Kisschasy for the award! Thanks for voting for them and getting them to the top! They were beat out by the Black Eyed Pea's "I Gotta Feeling" for Fave Song and Shaun lost to Dean Geyer who won Fave Aussie Hottie. Oh well, just winning Fave Aussie Band is a huge honour.
For those who do not have foxtel, if the awards are put on youtube i will either embed it here or link to it when i can find one :)
Finally for those who missed it on tuesday night. The official Sweet December video clip was released. Enjoy...
8/11/09 - Layout Change and Co-owners
There was something I was going to update the site with.... BUT!.... i forgot what it was so until i remember what it was the only update I have is, the new layout! I hope you like it :)

I just remembered what the other update was and it was kind of stupid of me to forget :)
So as you have probably noticed two new pages have been added to the site, fan fiction and about the band, so check them out and if you have page suggestions leave them in our comment widget/boxey thing
Also some more exciting news is, since the last time I updated the site, stack-sourcex has gained 3 co-owners that are helping me out with updates and running our myspace (OH! yes we got a myspace too!) They are Sarah, Amy and Mel. They are three awesome short stack fans and check out their owner bios on the domain page.
Lastly, but not least, stack-sourcex has yet again expanded its social networking horizons. Stack-sourcex now has a twitter AND now a myspace :)
